Ben spent 4 years in the care of Ema Baltac, in Romania, after being rescued from Golesti Animal Shelter. I dread to think what happened to him before this time.
After losing my last boy, I swore I would never have another dog. The heartbreak was too much. Fast forward 20 months & I was very depressed & had lost my way.
Then, one night, I found ADGAS. I contacted Patricia Daly & explained my circumstances. Low & behold, the first photo I was shown was Ben.
I instantly fell in love & knew I had to bring him to the uk. He arrived in sept 24 & literally made himself at home.
He is such an adorable boy to be around. He has the kindest of natures but a cheeky side, too! A few socks did go missing & have yet to be found. He arrived in my life at the perfect time. Was he waiting on me to find him?
It is now June 2025 & it feels like Ben has lived here all his life. I can’t express what a wonderful boy he is.
The question is, who rescued who?
EDIT: Ben now has a new friend joined him, another ADGAS boy, called Roman. And so the story will continue…
